The presentation of staff of office and coronation of Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli as the 19th Emir of Zazzau is set to hold on Monday, November 9, 2020.
A press statement issued by the Publicity Sub-Committee of the coronation, stated that the event is to hold at Zaria Polo Club, GRA, Sabon-Gari, at 10.00am prompt, adding that Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa’i, is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour at the coronation.
Other important dignitaries expected at the event include State governors, Honourable ministers, Members of the National and State Houses of Assembly, top Government functionaries, Captain of Industries, traditional rulers and politicians from all over the country. An organising committee under the chairmanship of the Wazirin Zazzau Alh. Ibrahim Muhammad Aminu has already been set up.
It could be recalled that one of the contenders Iyan Zazzau, Bashar Aminu has asked a Kaduna State High Court to restrain Governor El-Rufa’i from crowning Bamalli as the emir pending the determination of his suit.
The release appealed to people of Zazzau emirate and Kaduna State to turn out in large numbers to welcome invited guests to the Coronation ceremony.
